An autobiography is not about pictures; it's about the stories; it's about honesty and as much truth as you can tell without coming too close to other people's privacy.
Autobiography shows the life of a student. It is important that they know that they are special in their own way. That is why it is essential that they show it to their classmates.
1. In one of my Education courses, my teacher told us to write a poem about us. I thought that was a great assignment. Autobiography poem might also be tons of fun for the students.
2. Second assignment involves partners. Students will ask each other questions about family and life, then write a short report telling what they learned; what was interesting about their partners; and also what things they found are similar about themselves and their partner.
3. I remember back in High School for my Psychology class we had to make 'All about Me!' books. We could do it however we wanted them.
There were however, things that the teacher wanted me and my classmates to put into it.
Example: family tree, something about our dreams, what we want in our future.
The teacher and students can really brainstorm about it!
That is what I came up with.
I had a pair of old jeans which I couldn't use anymore.
I sew a cover for the binder I wanted to use for this project.
I think it turned out pretty well.
The fun thing is that I still have it with me!
Inside, the students can punch holes in the paper and glue the pictures in. Also, they can buy the plastic sheets.
